A Fruitfulness Call to Pray About During Lent

WESTON, Mass., March 8, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- A new Bible-based, Christian nonfiction book, Help Wanted -- One Million Breakthrough Tutors, Arise! written by Donald Mitchell, describes twelve ways that Christians can become more fruitful for the Lord, Jesus Christ, by helping others learn how to make Godly breakthroughs in obedience to and for Him. The book has been released for Lenten reading as Christians prepare to celebrate Jesus' victory over sin and death on Easter.

Help Wanted assists Christians to provide fruitfulness tutoring concerning Godly breakthroughs for those engaged in witnessing, congregational ministries, Christian nonprofit organizations, universities, secular teaching, youth organizations, foundations, social enterprises, governments, for-profit companies, independent professionals who advise organizations, and those involved in other activities. For those who are called to turn such Godly work into a part- or full-time profession, there's plenty of practical advice.

Donald Mitchell, author of 2,000 Percent Living and coauthor of Witnessing Made Easy and Ways You Can Witness observed, "Such tutoring allows Christians to become more visible to those who aren't yet saved by shining the Lord's precious light upon His world, and blesses those who are called to tutor as well as those who are served. In sharing this call from the One who I believe to be the Holy Spirit, I'm reminded of and encouraged by what this call could mean for Christians today when I read Moses' proclamation just before the Israelites crossed the Jordan, 'May the LORD God of your fathers make you a thousand times more numerous than you are, and bless you as He has promised you!'" (Deuteronomy 1:11 -- NKJV)

The book can be purchased in paperback from many online sites, including Amazon.com.

Mitchell sponsored a global contest in 2006 and 2007 to locate more fruitful ways to witness that are the basis for the books that he has coauthored about witnessing. He also heads the 400 Year Project to accelerate improvements in all human endeavors, from spiritual to material, as described in his book, Adventures of an Optimist. He repented his sins and accepted Jesus' free gift of Salvation in 1959, and attends Calvary Chapel in the City, Boston, Massachusetts, where he serves as a deacon.
